David Wagner directs this German-language gay-themed drama based on true events. Sergeant Major Charles Eismayer (Gerhard Liebmann) is a notoriously tough military officer living with a consuming secret: he is gay, and represses his sexuality to protect his family and his career. Everything changes when Eismayer becomes drawn to new recruit Mario Falak (Luka Damic), an openly homosexual man, who will force Eismayer to challenge everything he knows about masculinity as he comes to terms with the feelings he can no longer run from.
